My Creative Vision
My inspiration comes from my lived experiences and the experiences of my family and community, which are comprised of women, powerful immigrant, working-class, creative and entrepreneurial peoples. My storytelling is drawn to the spaces between survival and transformation – those pivotal moments where characters face not just external obstacles, but internal reckonings with their own power. These characters don’t just overcome obstacles; they reshape the landscape for those who will follow.
